Notice to Bidders Sealed bids will be received at the office of Truckee-Donner Recreation and Park District, 10981 Truckee Way. Truckee, California 96161, until 12pm February 7th, 2020, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read for PONDEROSA GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION PROJECT. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the installation of a new irrigation system for Ponderosa Golf Course located at 10040 Reynold Way. Truckee, California 96161, in accordance with the plans and specifications. Each bid must conform to the requirements of the Contract Documents entitled PONDEROSA GOLF COURSE IRRIGATION PROJECT. The Contract documents, plans, and specifications may be obtained at the TDRPD Community Center located at 10981 Truckee Way. Truckee, California 96161. No bid will be considered unless it is made on the form provided and accompanied by a Certified check, Cashier's check, or Bidder's bond for 5% of the amount of the bid, made payable to TDRPD. The above-mentioned check or bid bond shall be given as a guarantee that the bidder executes the Contract, if it be awarded to him or her, in conformity with the Contract Documents. If a Bidder's Bond is used, the Bond shall be conditioned such that the Bidder will pay the Truckee- Donner Recreation and Park District as liquidated damages the amount specified in the bond unless it enters into a contract in accordance with its bid. TDRPD has determined that the Contractor shall possess a valid Class C61 and D44 or Class A General Engineering or equivalent license at the time that the Contract is awarded. Failure to possess the specified license shall render the Bid as non-responsive and shall act as a bar to award of the Contract to any bidder not possessing said license at the time of the ward. Within 15 days after notification of the Ward on Contract, the successful bidder will be required to furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. Said bonds shall be secured from a Surety Company satisfactory to TDRPD. The Bidder and subcontractor(s) must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 (with limited exceptions for this requirement for bid purpose only under Labor Code section 1771.1(1)). The Bidder or subcontractor(s) may not be awarded the Contract unless registered as noted above. The Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. In accordance with California Labor Code Section 1773.2, the DISTRICT has determined the general prevailing rates of wages applicable to the work to be done. These rates are set forth in a schedule located at the DISTRICT office; said schedule is available to any interested Party on request. The CONTRACTOR shall post a copy at the jobsite. Pursuant to Section 22300 of the Public Contract Code of the State of California, the Agreement will contain provisions permitting the successful bidder to substitute securities for any moneys withheld by TDRPD to ensure performance under the contract.
